受太古橋橋面加固工程影響，太古橋標語之首二字會暫時被除去，待工程完成後，學生會將重新漆上二字，請同學放心。

學生會亦在此感謝同學對太古橋標語的關心及珍重。太古橋六四標語漆在太古橋面上廿載，一直為港大同學平反六四的重要精神標記，學生會定當繼續守護此標記，並傳承標語背後的精神。冷血屠城烈士英魂不朽，誓殲豺狼民主星火不滅！

Dear all,

Please be informed that as a result of the Swire Bridge strengthening works on crack repair, the first two Chinese characters on the Swire Bridge slogan regarding the June 4 Massacre has been temporarily removed.  The disturbed area, including the painted Chinese characters, will be reinstated after the completion of the repair works.

We also thank all students for your kind concern about the Swire Bridge Slogan. The Swire Bridge Slogan has been painted on the Swire Bridge for 20 years, and has been acting as an important symbol of HKU students' insistence on the verdict of June Forth Massacre. The Students' Union will continue to protect the slogan and pass on the spirit behind.
