Below please find the guidelines issue by the Orientation Affairs Committee. At the same time, please keep in mind of the professional guildlines of the Univeristy Task Force on Flu Pandermics, Centre for Health Protection and US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Guidance for Responses to Flu for Institutions of Higher Education during the 2009-2010 Academic Year.

Please take this matter seriously and do not let our concern for our function come before the concern for out students' health.

迎新活動期間流感控制指引

有鑑於甲型流感（或稱人類豬流感／H1N1）在港出現大型爆發，迎新事務委員會向各迎新活動籌委單位發出以下指引： 

１．若迎新活動參與者出現呼吸道感染徵狀，應立即求診，並採取適當隔離措施，預防病毒傳播。

２．若發現任何疑似或確診甲型流感個案，必須立刻向迎新事務委員會主席（鄭丞軒）及大學保健服務（UHS）報告。

３．若發現大量參與者疑似或確診感染甲型流感，學生會建議相關籌委單位立即暫停或中止活動，切勿冒險繼續進行迎新活動，以免出現更大型感染；若需繼續進行活動，應避免進行任何身體緊密接觸或集體活動。

４．對所有迎新活動參與者定時量度體溫並加以紀錄，建議一天四次，紀錄需保存最少一星期。

５．迎新活動不應編排過密或時間過長，以確保參與者有充足睡眠及休息時間，避免因而減低身體抵抗力。並請確保參與者飲用足夠清水。

６．如需進行身體緊密接觸或集體活動，請配戴口罩。
