香港2009東亞運動會義工計劃

Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games Volunteer Programme 

為令運動會的各項安排順利進行，並讓參與的選手、遊客和觀眾能賓至如歸，盡情投入和欣賞各項比賽及節目，我們需要各界的支持及參與，協力籌辦一個成功的東亞運動會。 

香港2009東亞運動會義工計劃，由2009東亞運動會(香港)有限公司主辦、義務工作發展局協辦，分階段招募超過3,000名義工。獲取錄的義工，將被安排於運動會籌備及比賽期間，提供接待、技術及物流支援等協助。 

要成就此項盛事，你的參與甚為重要。讓我們全力以赴，向世界展現出香港人熱情好客之道，同心攜手，共創傳奇一刻。 

The 5^th East Asian Games will be held in Hong Kong from 5^th to 13^th December 2009.  Over 3,500 elite athletes will complete for gold medals of 287 competition events under 23 sports, and 100,000 guests, delegates, media representatives, tourists and spectators will take part in the Games, making the Games the largest international multi-sport event ever held in Hong Kong. 

We are eager to enlist your support and participation in helping to ensure that the Games run smoothly and successfully, and that all these guests receive the warmest welcome in our City.  

To realise the above, the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games Volunteer Programme, organised by the 2009 East Asian Games (Hong Kong) Limited and co-organised by the Agency for Volunteer Service, is now recruiting more than 3,200 volunteers to provide various kinds of assistance for the organisation and staging of the Games. 

Your participation is crucial to the success of the Games.  Let’s all join hands to offer the world our warmest welcome, and be part of the Legend through contributing yourself to make the Games an unforgettable experience for everyone! 

我們需要你的參與，擔任義工領袖或義工，協助大會各工作的推展。

We need your participation as volunteer leaders or volunteers.

義工申請資格：

1. 年滿18歲或以上
2. 具中五或以上學歷程度
3. 能操流利粵語、英文或普通話（懂日語或韓語更佳）
4. 申請人必須出席所安排的培訓及籌備會議如下：
   • 義工領袖：16節，每節約4小時

• 義工：8節，每節約4小時

5. 申請人必須出席所安排的服務時段如下：
   • 義工領袖：15日，每日約8小時
   • 義工：10節，每節約4小時
6. 願意以熱誠積極的態度提供服務及協助

Qualifications & Requirements for Applicants:

• aged 18 or above
• form 5 education or above
• proficiency in Cantonese and English or Mandarin. (proficiency in Japanese or Korean would be an advantage)
• Commitment to attend a minimum number of training sessions and preparation meetings as follows:

•  

  - Volunteer leaders: 16 sessions (4 hours per session)

•  

  - Volunteers: 8 sessions (4 hours per session)

• Commitment to volunteer for a minimum number of service hours as follows:

•  

  - Volunteer leaders: 8 hours per day for15 days

•  

  - Volunteers: 8 sessions (4 hours per session)

• A helpful and sociable personality
