Dear all,

  The Union Diary 2010 - 2011(U-Diary) published by the Union Council 

will be ready on 1st September.  Apart from general contents like the 

diary and memo sections, the U-diary also contains some useful 

information (e.g. the service hours of public transport and campus 

facilities).

To get a copy of the U-Diary, please bring along with your Student

Registration Card issued by the University to the Union Office during 

1 -30 September.  Please kindly note that, affected by the 

construction of the University Street, the Union Office have been 

moved to G02, Technology Innovation and Incubation Building (next 

to 5/F lift lobby of West Gate Express Lift) temporarily.

Each full Union member can take one copy of the Union Diary.  

Freshmen who took one copy during the Information Day (2-3, 

August) cannot take another copy.  Besides, the Diary will be 

distributed on a first come first served basis.

Dear all,

    The Union Council has sent out a letter concerning the school bus 
arrangement during last semester.  And as a follow-up action, I have 
consulted the representative from the Faculty Societies and Halls 
recently, and reflexed their opinion towards Campus Services Center, 
Estate Office.  With the kind cooperation of the Estate Office, the 
school bus will run with the following new arrangements:
1.      For the convenience of students who have their lectures in the 
western part of Main Campus, a drop-off point will be set up at the 
entrance of the Composite Building multi-storey car park.  Students 
can use the lift in the Car park to reach the Haking Wong Podium.
2.      For the convenience of students who lived in Sasson Road, the 
56-seater bus heading to Stanley Ho Sports Centre stops at 6 SR 
after 16:00.
3.      For the convenience of students who have their lectures in 
Sasson Road Campus, there will be a trip starts from Main Campus at 
9:15.
4.      For the convenience of dental students, the trip to Prince Philip 
Dental Hospital will be started from the University Hall and 6 SR at 
8:15 and 8:20 respectively.
    The detailed school bus schedule and arrangements can be

suggestions or comments on the school bus arrangement, please feel

    I am sorry to inform you that there are some mistakes in the Union 

Diary.  

    In the last line of page 18, "Society Science Society, HKUSU" should 

be "Social Sciences Society, HKUSU"

    In the map of page 37,

1. "WL �兆基堂" should be "WL �倫堂" for the Chinese key

2. "WH" should be "WL" for the English Key
